Journeyman Service Electrician

The Service Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across multiple sites. This role requires independent work, frequent local travel, and consistent adherence to safety protocols. The Service Electrician will report directly to the Electrical Supervisor and utilize standard electrical tools alongside diagnostic software and safety equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and systems
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic software and instruments
• Perform safety inspections and comply with electrical safety standards
• Interact professionally with customers during service calls
• Test equipment and document maintenance and repair work
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies
• Travel frequently to multiple local sites for service delivery

Required Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or certification
• Proficient in electrical wiring and troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of safety compliance and protocols
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Effective time management and communication skills
• Customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical troubleshooting
• Technical diploma or certification in electrical technology
