Job Description

The Bridgeport Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining Bridgeport machinery with a focus on ensuring product quality and workplace safety. This role involves independent work during a single shift and requires routine maintenance of equipment to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Bridgeport machining equipment efficiently and safely
  • Conduct quality inspections on produced parts to meet specifications
  • Monitor safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
  • Set up equipment for production runs and adjust as necessary
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience in manufacturing operations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of machine operation and quality control
  • Understanding of safety compliance and mechanical aptitude
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with good communication and teamwork skills
  • Pay scale depends on your qualifications
