License Clinical Social Worker
Job Description
Key responsibilities
· General counseling: Provide individual, family, and group sessions addressing a broad range of presenting concerns (anxiety, depression, adjustment, relationships, stress, and life transitions).
· Crisis response: Offer timely crisis intervention and safety planning for clients in acute distress.
· Group facilitation: Design and facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that promote skills, resilience, and connection.
· Care coordination: Collaborate with primary care, school personnel, community organizations, and other providers to ensure seamless, client-centered care.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards; complete notes promptly.
· Psychoeducation and resources: Teach practical coping strategies and connect clients with relevant community resources.
· Community engagement: Participate in community-based initiatives (e.g., outreach events, presentations, brief screenings) that expand access to care.
· Grief support as a plus: Apply grief counseling approaches when appropriate to support clients experiencing loss and major life changes.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Licensure: LCSW (required)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general counseling practice; grief/bereavement experience preferred but not required.
- Technical skills: Proficiency with electronic health records (e.g., TherapyNotes or similar).
- Core competencies: Strong clinical formulation, trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and excellent interpersonal communication.
- Group experience: Experience facilitating groups is a plus.
- Work style: Reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently in a per diem/as‐needed capacity.
- Language skills: Bilingual abilities are a plus given our community focus however, not mandatory.

- Schedule: Flexible, including potential evenings and/or weekends based on client need.
- Compensation: Competitive per diem rate commensurate with experience.
