Press Assistant
Job Description
We are looking for a reliable Press Assistant to support a small press crew in a fast-paced production environment. This role involves assisting with press setup, material loading, quality control, and maintaining safety compliance during shift work hours with occasional overtime.
Responsibilities
- Assist with press operations and setup
- Load and prepare paper and materials
- Help with machine operation and maintenance
- Perform quality checks and identify color defects
- Keep the work area clean and organized
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in manufacturing
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of machine operation and quality control
- Understanding of safety procedures
- Basic math and computer literacy
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
