Job Description

Job Description

Northwest Dallas, TX | Full-Time | Direct Hire | No Travel

A well-established manufacturing plant in Northwest Dallas is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to keep production equipment running. This is a stable, long-tenure environment with no travel and no on-the-road service calls. You work in one plant.

What you will do:

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant electrical systems and production equipment, including 480V three-phase power distribution, motors, motor controls, and machine wiring. Support PLC-controlled equipment by diagnosing faults at the controls level (this is a hands-on electrician role, not a controls programmer position). Perform preventive maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and work with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.

What we are looking for:

Either a trade school certificate or formal electrical training plus a minimum of 2 years of hands-on industrial electrical experience, or a minimum of 5 years of on-the-job industrial electrical experience if you do not have formal classroom training. Solid 480V three-phase experience is required. Working familiarity with PLCs and industrial controls (able to troubleshoot around them, not program them). Industrial or manufacturing plant environment strongly preferred over residential or commercial construction backgrounds.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience, aligned to current DFW market. Candidates from recent trade school with 2 to 3 years of experience through senior journeyman-level electricians will be considered, with pay scaled accordingly. $27-$38/hr.
