We are seeking a motivated, clinically skilled, and team-oriented Physical Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary practice. Position Overview

As a Physical Therapist at Joint & Spine, you will play a key role in patient evaluation, treatment planning, rehabilitation, and case management. You will work closely with chiropractors, medical providers, occupational therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated, high-quality care through evidence-based treatment approaches.

We are looking for a therapist who is organized, outcome-focused, and comfortable working within structured clinical systems designed to support both patient success and provider efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and re-evaluations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals, clinical findings, and functional limitations.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, recovery expectations, and home exercise programs.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) in accordance with New Jersey regulations.
  • Collaborate with chiropractors, medical providers, and rehabilitation staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Participate in team meetings, patient education initiatives, and occasional community outreach events.
Qualifications

Required

  • Current and active New Jersey Physical Therapist license.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and evidence-based treatment skills.
  • Excellent communication and patient engagement abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Preferred

  • Experience in outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, or rehabilitation settings.
  • Experience supervising Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs).
  • Familiarity with multidisciplinary or integrative healthcare environments.
  • Manual therapy experience.
