We are pleased to announce we are looking for a Workers' Compensation defense attorney with 1+ years of experience, who is hard-working, self-starter eager to grow with our boutique bay area firm. The qualities we are looking for include a positive attitude, adaptability, and excellent communication skills with clients, colleagues, and staff. We offer flex hours, the option to work remote, in-person at our East Bay or Marin office, or hybrid. We have gold star clients from F500 companies, TPAs, and Insurance Carriers.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court or before government agencies
• Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
• Advise clients on business and legal transactions
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law

• Previous experience in Workers Compensation Defense law
• Familiarity with various legal documents
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Member of California State Bar
