Plumbing Specialties, Inc, (PSI) is seeking skilled and experienced Licensed Commercial Plumbing foreman or supervisor to help us build a commercial business in Austin, TX, as a satellite to our primary operations in Beaumont, TX. The company specializes in working with new and renovative commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with leadership to establish business in Austin for installing plumbing systems in various commercial settings. This role requires a thorough understanding of commercial plumbing systems and applicable building codes/standards, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Our ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a strong work ethic and a dedication to providing high-quality service to our clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with PSI leadership in establishing a core team of local commercial plumbers and develop relationships with area General Contractors.
• Install plumbing systems in commercial buildings, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Work closely with construction teams, architects, and engineers to ensure that plumbing systems are designed and installed in compliance with local building codes and industry standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and vent systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues, such as leaks, clogs, and low water pressure, and implement effective solutions.
• Install and maintain backflow prevention devices to protect the public water supply.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner.

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid state-issued Journeyman or Master Plumber license.
• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in the plumbing trade in the building & construction industry, with at least 5 years in a foreman capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, materials, and equipment.
• Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal plumbing codes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Plumbing certificate from a technical school is preferred
• Must be able to provide basic hand-tools needed for their work.

We are looking to expand into the Austin area and need a motivated licensed plumber to take on this challenge!
