A leading Kansas City manufacturing company is seeking experienced Laser Operators to join its team. This is a great opportunity for individuals with laser machine operation and Mastercam programming experience who are looking for a stable position with a strong work-life balance and a consistent four-day workweek.

Responsibilities

• Operate laser cutting machinery safely and efficiently.
• Program laser equipment using Mastercam.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating laser machines.
• Experience with Mastercam programming.
• Ability to read and interpret prints/blueprints.
• Experience performing quality inspections.
• Basic math skills.
• High school education or equivalent specialized training, vocational education, or relevant on-the-job experience.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines, work practices, and regulations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for 10-hour shifts.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of a manufacturing environment.
