We are currently seeking a full-time Press Operator to join our apparel screen printing team. We are currently seeking a full-time Press Operator to join our apparel screen printing team. The ideal candidate is motivated, efficient, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, expanding operation. Experience with ROQ or M&R automatic presses is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Review work orders to understand design placement, specifications, and color requirements
- Obtain supervisor approval prior to production runs
- Set up and rip out press jobs
- Operate automatic press while maintaining optimal production speed and print quality
- Make necessary adjustments to ensure proper registration and color consistency
- Troubleshoot issues during production and collaborate with supervisors to resolve them
- Ensure finished products meet customer expectations and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness of press, workstation, and surrounding areas
- Assist in maintaining overall shop cleanliness and organization
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating an automatic screen printing press
- Hands-on experience with ROQ or M&R automatic presses
- Strong attention to detail throughout all stages of production
- Ability to multitask, work efficiently, and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Team-oriented mindset
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
- Reliable transportation required
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed
- Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Mandatory overtime required during peak seasons
- Occasional Saturday shifts during summer and fall
- Expected workload:
- Winter–Spring: ~40 hours/week
