Occupational Therapist (OT) – Part‑Time Position

Let’s Talk & Do Therapy – South Gate, CA

Let’s Talk & Do Therapy, a bilingual pediatric speech and occupational therapy clinic in South Gate, is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team on a part‑time basis. This role is ideal for a clinician who values flexibility, collaboration, and child‑centered care.

Position Overview

  • Role: Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Hours: Part‑time with flexible scheduling
  • Setting: In‑clinic (South Gate) and In-Home in the surrounding area
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate
  • Start Date: April
  • Days: Several scheduling options are available: (1) 10–20 hours per week after 3:30 PM Monday through Friday, (2) two days per week with eight sessions each day, or (3) three days per week with eight sessions each day.
Demographic
  • Ages: 1 - 17; most clients are ages 1 to 7
  • Disability: A variety of diagnoses and delays that impact sensory and fine motor.
Specialty desired
  • Provide parent and client support for a variety of skills related to safe eating
  • Provide parent and client support in building self-regulation, comfort, and participation in daily routines.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide high‑quality pediatric OT services
  • Collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team
  • Participate in treatment planning and family education
  • Contribute to a warm, inclusive environment for children and families
What We’re Looking For

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in California
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • A clinician who values teamwork, compassion, and evidence‑based practice
Language
  • Spanish-English OT is preferred but not necessary.
