Electrician- Travel Required

*This particular job will be in Morganton NC for most of the work, but will require traveling from time to time.*

Responsibilities and Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures
• Layout, install, repair or replace electrical wiring, equipment, components and fixtures using hand and power tools; based on job specifications, electrical drawings and local codes
• Install conduit systems, hang light fixtures, install feeder wire and terminate electrical panels
• Inspect and trouble shoot electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety rules
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Travel requirement:

• Up to 50% to 75% travel

Experience:

• Electrical: 3 years (Required).

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (Required)
