Law and Motion Attorney

Come join the renowned and well-established Dominguez Firm! We are seeking a Law and Motion Attorney to prepare persuasive, high quality legal briefs to support our clients in personal injury matters. This includes motions for summary judgment, motions to strike, demurrers, motions in limine, discovery motions, meet and confer letters, IDC statements, and other related papers.

Responsibilities:

• Compile relevant facts and information from clients, comprehend the legal requirements for the associated project, analyze the facts/information provided, and report to supervising attorney for legal strategy.
• Draft original briefs that concisely relay the relevant facts of a case to the applicable legal criteria
• Collaborate with multiple attorneys and paralegals to provide support with various original writing projects
• Create organizational charts, graphs, and other collateral materials to support letters/briefs
• Prioritize multiple concurrent projects to meet rolling deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years experience preferred.
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities
• Knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with litigation teams
