Pay & Core Perks:

• Pay: $106,000 – $123,000 / year (Based on commercial experience)

About the Role: Mechanical Solutions USA is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Installation Technician to lead equipment replacements across hospitals, commercial offices, and government facilities in Greater New Orleans. This role is ideal for a skilled installer who wants ownership over projects and a direct path to building and leading a dedicated installation department.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead commercial equipment replacements (RTUs, air-handling units, chilled-water systems, and pumps).
• Read plans, specs, and schematics to plan labor, rigging, access, and facility shutdown requirements.
• Coordinate piping, ductwork, electrical, and control connections within trade scope.
• Perform equipment start-ups, troubleshooting, and project turnovers in occupied commercial and healthcare settings.
• Direct helpers and field personnel on assigned job sites.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 7–10+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience.
• Certification: EPA Universal Certification required.
• Skills: Proven ability to read schematics, coordinate rigging/shutdowns, and work independently or lead a small crew.
• License: Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred (Not Required):

• Experience in healthcare/hospital environments (infection control, airflow protocols, and critical shutdowns).
