1st Shift Extruder

1st Shift – Manufacturing Extruder Operator

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Extruder Operators to join our production team. This position is responsible for operating extrusion machinery used in the manufacturing of industrial hoses while ensuring product quality, proper machine setup, and adherence to safety and production standards.

Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Pay Rate: $14.50/hr

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor extrusion machinery during the manufacturing process
• Set up machines according to production specifications
• Adjust machine settings, including temperature, speed, and material flow
• Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor machine adjustments
• Record production data and complete required documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Work closely with supervisors and quality control to meet production goals

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing or extrusion experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Ability to read measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and gauges
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
