Position Summary:

The Licensed Therapist (LPCC / LCSW) provides direct clinical services to adults struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. The clinician will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, facilitate group and individual therapy sessions, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic client care.

The ideal candidate will be trauma-informed, empathetic, and committed to promoting recovery and personal growth in every client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and clinical summaries.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with Medicaid and state guidelines.

  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches (CBT, DBT, MI, trauma-informed care).

  • Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and referral coordination when necessary.

  • Document all services accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR).

  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care with case managers, peer supports, and community resources.

  • Support relapse prevention and psychoeducation topics in IOP and OP settings.

  • Maintain compliance with all state regulations, AODE standards, and Medicaid documentation requirements.

  • Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards under HIPAA and professional licensure codes.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.

  • Current, active LPCC or LCSW license in the state of Kentucky (in good standing).

  • Experience providing therapy for substance use, trauma, or co-occurring disorders preferred.

  • Strong clinical documentation, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Familiarity with ASAM levels of care and person-centered planning preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and relapse prevention techniques.

  • Comfort facilitating group therapy and leading psychoeducational sessions.

  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and Medicaid billing standards.
