Cherry Picker Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Cherry Picker Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This position requires operating a cherry picker forklift and safely riding the platform at elevated heights while wearing a required safety harness. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working at heights and maintaining high accuracy standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a cherry picker forklift to pick and stock products in high racking systems
• Stand and ride on the cherry picker platform while secured with a safety harness
• Retrieve inventory from elevated locations (20–30+ feet high)
• Use RF scanners to pick, scan, and verify orders
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse
• Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections
• Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations at all times
• Assist with general warehouse duties such as packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of cherry picker forklift experience (required)
• Experience working at elevated heights with required fall protection equipment (required)
• Forklift certification (preferred)
• RF scanner experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable and punctual
