We are currently seeking a hands-on Machine Operator to run a paper converting machine and undertake responsibility for quality assurance of the products manufactured. You will be a vital team contributor to the success of timely order completion, order quality, and achieving team targets. Your duties and responsibilities will include:
%CF; Hands-on machine operator
%CF; Leading the line team
%CF; Assisting other team members as needed on the line
%CF; Assisting Maintenance with equipment set up, changeovers and adjustments
%CF; Testing quality of products
%CF; Becoming fully cross-trained and demonstrating proficiency on each machine
%CF; Performing routine maintenance on machines and/or assist Maintenance Technicians
Requirements/Qualifications
%CF; Manufacturing: 2 years (Required)
%CF; Machine Operator: 2 years (Required)
%CF; Ability to read a ruler (Required)
%CF; Ability to legibly and accurately fill out production reports
%CF; Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting/problem-solving skills
%CF; Ability to constantly stand
%CF; Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
%CF; Occasional bending, kneeling, or entry into enclosed spaces
%CF; Strong team communication skills
%CF; Adherence to health and safety regulations
