Concrete Finisher

Job description

Talent Corps is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our growing team in Austin Tx and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and takes pride in delivering high-quality concrete finishes on residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, place, level, and finish concrete using hand and power tools.
• Smooth and finish surfaces using floats, trowels, and edging tools.
• Check elevations, grades, and slopes using laser levels and measuring equipment.
• Set forms, check grades, and ensure proper concrete placement.
• Apply curing compounds and protect finished concrete.
• Repair and patch damaged concrete as needed.
• Read blueprints and follow project specifications.
• Operate and maintain concrete finishing equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of concrete finishing experience.
• Strong knowledge of concrete placement, finishing techniques, and curing methods.
• Ability to read construction drawings and use measuring tools.
• Experience with sidewalks, driveways, foundations, slabs, curbs, and flatwork preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.
• Must have OSHA 10 or OSHA 30.
• Must be able to pass Background Check and Drug Test.

Compensation & Benefits

· Competitive hourly pay (Based on Experience)

· $26 - $28

· Steady, full-time work

Schedule

· Monday to Friday

· 40+ hours a week

· Weekends and overtime as needed
