Aircraft Mechanics - T56 / PT6 / QEC / Accessories
Job Description
A growing aviation MRO is seeking experienced Aviation Turbine Mechanics for multiple opportunities supporting aircraft engines, QEC assemblies, accessories and related components.
We are especially interested in mechanics with T56/501 or PT6 experience, but will also consider candidates with strong experience on other turbine engines, aviation components, military aircraft, or in an MRO environment.
Areas of Experience
Candidates with experience in any of the following are encouraged to apply:
- T56 / 501 series engines
- PT6A / PT6T engines
- QEC / QECK assemblies
- Turbine engine overhaul and repair
- Engine accessories and components
- Fuel controls, fuel pumps and related components
- Engine assembly and disassembly
- Inspection, troubleshooting and repair
- Test cell operations
- Aviation MRO / Part 145 environments
- Military aviation maintenance
- Other turbine engine platforms
Responsibilities
Depending on your experience, responsibilities may include:
- Disassembling, inspecting, repairing and assembling aircraft engines and components
- Performing engine and component overhaul and maintenance
- Troubleshooting mechanical and operational issues
- Performing inspections, measurements and functional checks
- Supporting QEC and accessory assembly activities
- Following approved technical data, maintenance manuals and work instructions
- Completing accurate maintenance and inspection documentation
- Following FAA, quality and safety requirements
Qualifications
- Hands-on aviation maintenance, turbine engine, component or MRO experience
- T56, PT6, QEC, accessory or other turbine experience preferred
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and maintenance documentation
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a hands-on aviation environment
- FAA A&P certification preferred for applicable positions, but not required for every opening
Location
These positions are based in South Florida. Local candidates are encouraged to apply, and qualified candidates outside the area may be considered if they are willing to relocate.
