Position: Full-time School Counselor

Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $45000-$60000

Most Holy Trinity Catholic Academy in Detroit is seeking a compassionate and dedicated part-time School Counselor to join our team. This role is vital in providing emotional and social support to our students, helping them navigate challenges and succeed academically and personally. Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students
• Address social, emotional, and behavioral issues affecting students
• Develop and implement programs to support student well-being and academic success
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student needs
• Conduct assessments and provide referrals to external resources when necessary
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions
• Participate in school meetings and contribute to the development of student support plans

Qualifications: Possess at least one (1) of the following:

• Master’s degree in social work (MSW) with a valid Michigan School Social Worker license, OR
• Michigan Counselor (or School Counselor) License with a master’s degree from an accredited University.
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience providing social work or counseling services.

Additional Responsibilities Previous Counselor Ran & Aided. You will be in contact with previous counselor to aid in the transition
