Position Summary
Spine Institute of the Carolinas is seeking a Part-Time/PRN Radiation Technician to perform high‑quality diagnostic X‑rays for clinic patients in a fast‑paced, patient‑centered environment. Key Responsibilities

Perform Patient X‑rays — Capture high‑quality diagnostic images for orthopaedic and spine evaluations.

Maintain Radiation Safety — Follow all safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself.

Support Clinical Workflow — Assist providers by preparing imaging rooms, positioning patients, and ensuring efficient patient flow.

Document and Manage Imaging — Accurately label, upload, and maintain imaging records in the EMR.

Provide Patient Education — Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients about procedures.

Collaborate with Clinical Team — Work closely with surgeons, PAs, nurses, and medical assistants to support patient care.

Uphold Quality Standards — Ensure imaging accuracy and consistency for diagnostic and surgical planning.

Participate in Professional Development — Engage in ongoing training and continuing education.
Required Qualifications

Valid Radiation Therapy Technologist certification or equivalent state license.

Associate’s degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.

Experience in a clinical setting preferred; but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in imaging.
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced orthopaedic environment.
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and best practices.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient care.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
