Veterinary Technician / Doctor Assistant

We are looking for a vet tech / doctor assistant with ideally 2+ years of hands-on experience for a small animal private practice (not corporate).

Full time, Monday thru Friday 9:30-6:30, although hours may vary based on practice needs.

Looking for an employee with experience / proficiency in: Blood draws, Radiology, Vaccine knowledge, Gentle dog and cat handling / restraint, Computerized medical records data entry.

Additional responsibilities include: Assisting doctor, Talking with clients - taking proper history based on reason for visit, Computerized medical record entry of information obtained, Maintaining equipment in areas of responsibility, stocking areas of responsibility.

This practice has very low staff turnover.

Private Small Animal Veterinary Hospital, limited to dogs and cats.
