Commercial Service Plumber
We’re hiring an experienced Commercial Service Plumber to support a steady pipeline of service calls across commercial and industrial facilities. This is a full-time, year-round position with consistent work at multiple job sites across North Florida and Southwest Georgia.
What to expect: A high-volume, steady workload—dispatches and scheduled service work—focused on doing the job right the first time, documenting work performed, and keeping our customer sites up and running.
What You’ll Do
- Interpret blueprints and drawings to plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal, and water supply systems
- Cut, assemble, and install piping and tubing while protecting existing infrastructure (e.g., electrical wiring)
- Perform scheduled service, repairs, and preventative maintenance on domestic water supply systems
- Diagnose and repair water supply issues efficiently (leaks, low pressure, failed components)
- Handle service calls for drainage issues: repair/replace lines, clear clogs, and service fixtures (faucets, flush valves, etc.)
- Operate sanitary drain cleaning equipment (snakes, jetters, cameras, etc.)
- Install and service plumbing fixtures and equipment (e.g., sinks, ice machines, water closets)
- Install and maintain liquid propane (LP) and natural gas piping systems (as qualified)
- Install waste disposal and sanitary (DWV) systems to code and ensure proper function
- Install and maintain medical gas systems in healthcare facilities (as qualified)
- Communicate status with dispatch/site contacts and complete clear, timely service documentation
Qualifications
- Commercial service plumbing experience (preferred: 5+ years)
- Strong understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in commercial/industrial environments
- Working knowledge of related building systems (heating/ventilation and common commercial appliances)
- Proficiency with plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, drain machines, etc.)
- Professional communication skills and a customer-service mindset
- Strong troubleshooting skills and patience when working with customers/occupants
- Ability to lift, climb, and work in confined or awkward spaces as needed
- Trade school diploma and/or completed apprenticeship (highly preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to work independently, document work performed, and follow safety procedures
- Ability to travel between job sites as needed (North Florida and Southwest Georgia)
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical Gas Installer certification/experience
- Experience with LP/natural gas piping systems
- Experience supporting healthcare, industrial, or multi-site commercial facilities
- Strong blueprint reading and code-compliance knowledge

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Work is performed in active commercial facilities and may include exposure to heat/cold, wet or dusty environments, ladders, and confined spaces. Must be able to lift and carry materials and equipment and perform repetitive bending, kneeling, and standing.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)

- Plumbing: 5 years (Preferred)
