About the Role:
FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Abilene, TX is looking for a passionate and driven Physical Therapist to join our full-time team! Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess patients to develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
- Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions including balance training, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in community outreach and wellness programs as a representative of FYZICAL
Requirements:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Current Texas Physical Therapy license or ability to obtain licensure
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic or balance/vestibular rehabilitation preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and staff
- Ability to manage a full patient caseload in a fast-paced clinic setting
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuing education
