Join a small, high-powered multi-jurisdictional law firm as a Commercial Bankruptcy Paralegal. This role is ideal for a self-motivated and organized professional experienced with legal research tools such as LexisNexis, Westlaw, Office 365, and BestCase. You'll manage client and attorney contacts, oversee court calendars, and handle various administrative duties while directly supporting a Senior Partner in a small legal team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client and attorney contacts to ensure seamless communication
  • Support attorneys with case preparation and document management
  • Maintain and coordinate court calendars across multiple jurisdictions
  • Conduct legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, and BestCase
  • Prepare and organize legal documents and filings
  • Oversee case management activities to track deadlines and milestones
  • Handle administrative duties to support firm operations
  • Coordinate multi-jurisdictional legal proceedings and schedules
  • Manage scheduling and communications for court appearances and client meetings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in bankruptcy law
  • Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
  • Proficiency with LexisNexis, Westlaw, Office 365, and BestCase
  • Strong legal research and client management skills
  • Experience managing court calendars
  • Excellent organization, communication, and time management abilities
