MEP Experts LLC is looking for a skilled and experienced Master Electrician to join our growing team in Houston, TX. Responsibilities:
- Plan, install, and oversee electrical systems for commercial and industrial work
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to ensure accurate installations
- Inspect and troubleshoot electrical components including wiring, panels, circuit breakers, and transformers
- Ensure all electrical work complies with NEC, local codes, and safety regulations
- Supervise and mentor journeyman electricians and apprentices on job sites
- Coordinate with project managers and other MEP trades to meet project timelines
- Perform load calculations, conduit bending, and panel terminations
Requirements:
- Valid Texas Master Electrician license required
- 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience in commercial or industrial settings
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local Houston/Texas regulations
- Proven ability to lead and supervise electrical crews on active job sites
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented work ethic
