Forklift Operator - HIRING ASAP!

Job Overview - 1st and 2nd Shift Available

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Forklift Operator's to join a Fast Paced Distribution Environment immediately. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in unloading and loading containers and trucks, stacking pallets, putting inventory away, and picking orders with an electric sit-down forklift.

Responsibilities

• Operate Electric Sit-Down Counterbalances
• Utilize a Sit-Down Forklift to perform material handling tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, and performing order picking and put away into low-rack inventory systems
• Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) and assist with order picking activities.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by organizing goods for distribution or storage according to warehouse procedures, loading and unloading inbound and outbound trucks.
• Support put away and order picking operations for inventory storage and order fulfillment processes.
• Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and internal safety protocols during all equipment operation and materials handling tasks.

Experience

• Minimum of 4-years of experience operating Electric Sit Down Forklifts
• Minimum of 3-years of experience operating Electric Pallet Jacks
• Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and a RF Scanner for inventory control and order processing.
• Prior experience in shipping & receiving or an Order Picking & Put-Away Department
• Prior experience in a Distribution or Logistics environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards in production environments ensures safe work practices are followed consistently.
• Reach Truck operating experience is a PLUS
