Certified Prosthetist / Orthotist

This is a unique opportunity for an inividual to someday be a partner and independent owner within a corporate franchise structure with the opportunity to run and grow the practice as you see fit. Primarily this person will work dircetly under our seasoned CPO to help maintain and grow our prosthetic commitment to our community and be an extension to our orthotist to share the orthotic work load.

This candidate will play a vital role in evaluating new patients and managing existing patients by providing custom prosthetic and orthotic devices. Working within a medium-sized team of 4-7 members and directly reporting to the Clinical Manager, this role requires strong communication skills and the ability to build professional relationships. The position may involve occasional travel to referral sources to cast and fit devices, demanding flexibility and technical proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional relationships with patients and healthcare teams
• Communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and with patients
• Collaborate as a team member or work independently as required
• Evaluate new patients for prosthetic and orthotic needs
• Manage ongoing care and adjustment for existing patients
• Occasional travel to referral sources for casting and fitting devices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in prosthetics and orthotics
• ABC or BOC certification in orthotics and prosthetics
• Technical skills
• Experience with advanced scanning technology
