About the Role:

As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to pet owners and supporting our veterinary team. The ideal candidate will be organized, compassionate, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and patients warmly in person and over the phone
  • Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed
  • Handle client communications, including appointment reminders, follow-ups, and general inquiries
  • Facilitate the check-in/check-out process for clients and patients
  • Process payments and maintain the reception area in a professional manner
  • Collaborate closely with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and the rest of the clinic team
  • Uphold confidentiality and provide support with administrative duties as required


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a veterinary or medical reception role preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
  • Proficient in basic computer and scheduling software (experience with Digitail a plus)
  • Genuine care for animals and their people
  • Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends
