Maintenance Lead – Warehouse Support

Pay: $20–$24/hour

About the Role
Peak Drift Brewing Co. is looking for an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Lead – Warehouse Support to keep our brewery, packaging equipment, and facility operating safely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on maintenance position requiring strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. The ideal candidate has experience diagnosing and repairing industrial equipment, including motors, pumps, valves, rotors, gears, conveyors, and related production systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and packaging equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, motors, controls, sensors, and electrical components.
- Diagnose and repair pumps, valves, motors, gears, rotors, bearings, shafts, and mechanical drive systems.
- Troubleshoot and maintain conveyors, packaging equipment, fillers, depalletizers, and related machinery.
- Perform preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues quickly to minimize production downtime.
- Work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems as needed.
- Assist with equipment installation, alignment, modifications, and upgrades.
- Inspect equipment for wear, damage, leaks, vibration, or other potential failures.
- Maintain and repair warehouse equipment and infrastructure.
- Support production and packaging teams with equipment setup, changeovers, and maintenance needs.
- Maintain an organized inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.
- Keep accurate maintenance and preventative maintenance records.
- Coordinate with outside contractors and service technicians when specialized work is required.
- Maintain a clean and safe maintenance and production environment.
- Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend long-term solutions.
- Support warehouse operations, including receiving, staging, organizing, and moving materials and packaging.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
Required Experience & Skills
- Previous industrial maintenance experience required.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic experience.
- Experience troubleshooting AC motors, pumps, VFDs, sensors, controls, and electrical systems.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working with pumps, valves, rotors, gears, bearings, shafts, and mechanical drive systems.
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting conveyor systems.
- Ability to use electrical testing equipment such as a multimeter.
- Ability to read and understand basic electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams.
- Experience with pneumatic systems preferred.
- Brewery, beverage, food manufacturing, packaging, or industrial production experience preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who can diagnose a problem, determine the root cause, and make the repair rather than simply identifying that something is broken.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, electrically capable, safety-conscious, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced production environment.
You should be comfortable getting your hands dirty and working directly on equipment to keep production running.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move equipment, tools, and materials.
- Ability to climb ladders and work around production equipment.
- Ability to work in wet, hot, cold, and noisy production environments.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
Compensation
$20–$24/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
