JOURNEYMEN Electrician

The Journeyman Electrician will serve as a lead electrician primarily working on commercial building projects. This role involves electrical installation, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards. The ideal candidate will interpret blueprints accurately, perform equipment testing, and carry out repair work efficiently. Occasional travel to job sites and adherence to standard working hours are expected.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems and conduit in commercial buildings
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations
• Interpret blueprints to guide installation and repair work
• Test equipment to verify proper operation
• Lead and mentor electrician team members on job sites
• Run wire and set up conduit as required
• Maintain safety standards on all job sites

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical work
• Journeyman Electrician License
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and code compliance
• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
• Experienced in troubleshooting and repair
• Familiarity with safety procedures and installation techniques
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
