Concrete Finisher
Job Description
The Concrete Finisher plays a critical role in the construction process by ensuring the proper pouring, finishing, and curing of concrete surfaces. Working closely within a small team of 1-5 workers and reporting directly to the Site Supervisor, this professional brings expertise to multiple site environments, maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the project. The position requires physical stamina and skillful attention to detail to deliver smooth, level, and durable concrete structures while adhering to safety protocols and deadlines. Work will span all aspects of residential construction, including footings, foundations, porches, driveways and sidewalks. Average work week 45 hrs. M-TH 7:00am to 5:30pm. Friday 7:00am to12:00pm. All work is performed locally with no overnight travel. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
Responsibilities
- Pour and spread concrete materials accurately
- Set up and dismantle formwork
- Mix materials per project specifications
- Smooth and level concrete surfaces for a quality finish
- Inspect finished surfaces to ensure quality standards
- Maintain and clean tools and equipment
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines on-site
- Perform site cleanup after tasks completion
Required Qualifications
