Forklift Operator (LTO)

Position Overview

Ron's Staffing is seeking experienced Forklift Operators (Lift Truck Operators – LTO) to support warehouse operations. Candidates must have sit-down forklift experience and demonstrate a willingness to learn additional equipment, including turret trucks, for advancement opportunities. This is a Temp to Hire position

Shift & Pay Structure

1st Shift (Sit-Down Forklift): 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | $17.00/hour

2nd Shift (Sit-Down Forklift): 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM | $18.00/hour

Advancement Opportunity (after 30 days): Train on Turret Truck | $20.00/hour upon certification

Key Responsibilities

Operate sit-down forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently.

Transport inventory within warehouse and staging areas.

Maintain accuracy when handling product and inventory.

Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Participate in training to operate additional equipment (e.g., turret truck).

Qualifications

Prior sit-down forklift experience required.

Ability and willingness to learn turret truck operations.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Ability to work assigned shift and overtime as needed.

Strong safety awareness.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment for extended periods.

Lift and move materials as required.

Work in warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
