Well established Bay Area physical medicine and rehabilitation medical group seeking part-time or full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in our outpatient multidisciplinary Brain Injury treatment program.


Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose Cognitive-Linguistic disorders in adults with Acquired Brain Injuries.
  • Collaborate weekly with other healthcare professionals, such as Physicians, Psychologists and Physical Therapists, to provide holistic care to patients.
  • Conduct group as well as 1:1 therapy sessions.
  • Monitor clients' progress with screenings and rating scales.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client's progress and treatment outcomes for worker’s compensation reporting.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
  • Current, unrestricted SLP California license.
  • Strong CFY will be considered.
  • Bilingual Spanish speaker preferred.
  • Experience working with clients recovering from neurological injuries and illnesses.
  • A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist preferred.
  • MoCA certification ideal.
  • Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions.
  • Demonstrates strong organization skills and attention to detail.
