SHEAR & BRAKE OPERATOR - EXPERIENCED ONLY

LaborMAX Staffing is hiring an experienced Shear & Brake Operator for a manufacturing/warehouse environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2–3 years of recent Metal Shear & Brake Operator experience REQUIRED
• Must have hands-on experience operating shears and brakes
• Ability to read shop drawings
• Ability to read a tape measure and accurately measure materials
• Experience cutting and bending material according to drawings
• Overhead crane experience required/preferred
• Must understand material tolerances and allowances
• Must follow safety procedures and inspect equipment

JOB DUTIES:
Operate metal shear and brake equipment, measure and cut materials, bend materials, locate materials according to work orders, use overhead cranes to move materials, change dies, calculate tolerances/sizes, and inspect machines for proper operation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform reaching, pulling, lifting, stooping, and bending.

IMPORTANT: This is a SKILLED POSITION. Candidates without previous Metal Shear & Brake experience will not be considered.
