Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team. You will work directly under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and collaborate with chiropractors and medical providers to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation protocols
- Provide hands-on therapy including stretching, mobility work, and neuromuscular re-education
- Operate rehab equipment (decompression tables, modalities, etc.)
- Monitor patient progress and document outcomes accurately
- Educate patients on posture, injury prevention, and home exercise programs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment environment
Qualifications
- Active California Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise
- Experience in outpatient ortho, sports rehab, or chiropractic setting preferred
- Excellent communication and patient engagement skills
- Team-oriented with a positive, energetic attitude
- BILINGUAL SPANISH /ENGLISH is a must.
Preferred Experience (Bonus)
- Spanish speaking is a MUST.
- Experience with spinal decompression therapy
- Background in sports performance or athletic rehab
- Familiarity with cash-based or hybrid wellness clinics
- Interest in integrative therapies (shockwave, recovery modalities)
