Dryer Operator

About the job

The Dryer Operator supports production by operating drying equipment, moving product through

the production process, and ensuring a continuous flow of materials while maintaining food safety

and quality standards.

We're looking for someone who

%CF; Holds a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

%CF; Has experience working in a manufacturing, food production, or industrial environment

(preferred)

%CF; Is able to operate production equipment and follow established operating procedures

%CF; Can safely lift, move, and handle barrels of product throughout the shift

%CF; Demonstrates strong attention to detail and follows quality standards

%CF; Is comfortable working in a fast-paced, cold, and wet production environment

%CF; Communicates effectively and works well as part of a team

%CF; Is committed to food safety, GMP, machine safety, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures

%CF; Is willing to perform a variety of production tasks as operational needs change

%CF; Is available to work overtime, nights, weekends, and seasonal schedules as needed

%CF; Is willing to travel seasonally between San Juan Bautista, CA and Yuma, AZ

What you'll do

%CF; Operate production dryers to support efficient product flow

%CF; Fill, transport, and load barrels of product into drying equipment

%CF; Monitor and manage drying cycles according to production requirements

%CF; Safely lift and dump product using hoists or team lifting techniques as needed

%CF; Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas around production equipment

%CF; Monitor equipment performance and report safety or mechanical concerns promptly

%CF; Follow food safety, GMP, machine guarding, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures

%CF; Support additional heavy labor tasks including supplying production lines, moving

materials, and assisting other production areas

%CF; Work collaboratively with production, quality, and maintenance teams to maintain efficient operations
