Electrician Journeyman

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Licensed Electrician to join our team at a grain processing facility. This is a long-term employment opportunity for an experienced professional who can safely install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in a fast-paced industrial environment.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and experienced working with industrial electrical equipment to minimize downtime and support continuous operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Diagnose electrical issues and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to support production.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Schedule Requirements:

• Open availability is required.
• Must be able to work a rotating schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Overtime may be required based on operational needs.

Qualifications:

• Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license is required.
• Previous industrial or manufacturing electrical experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting motors, control panels, PLCs, and industrial equipment is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, lift equipment, and work in an industrial environment.
