Job Description
This Recruiter I role focuses on hiring candidates for the Transportation department in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. You cultivate talent sourcing channels, build strong relationships with hiring managers, and manage full-cycle recruitment to successfully close searches against tight deadlines. You work closely with your supervisor and peers in a collaborative team culture and contribute directly to staffing needs for a growing organization.
Responsibilities- Recruit, interview, and evaluate candidates for roles within the Transportation department.
- Conduct reference checks to verify candidate experience and suitability.
- Prepare and extend job offers to selected candidates, ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience.
- Coordinate and conduct orientation for new employees to support effective onboarding.
- Perform exit interviews and process changes in employee status as needed.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates.
- Source candidates through a variety of channels and cultivate ongoing talent pipelines.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand role requirements and team needs.
- Prioritize and close searches against defined timelines while meeting customer service level agreements (SLAs).
- Set and track benchmarks and metrics to measure recruiting effectiveness and efficiency.
- Lead or participate in technology hiring events, mixers, meetups, and user groups to attract and engage talent.
- Provide exceptional candidate generation and client/account management throughout the recruitment process.
- Collaborate regularly with your supervisor and peers, working under immediate supervision and reporting to a manager or supervisor.
- At least 2 years of experience in high-volume recruiting and sourcing.
- Proven experience managing both high-volume and niche hiring requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates.
- Strong skills in candidate generation across multiple sourcing channels.
- Experience setting and working with recruiting benchmarks, metrics, and performance indicators.
- Ability to prioritize and manage searches to meet customer SLAs and tight deadlines.
- Experience leading or actively participating in technology hiring events, technology mixers, and technology-focused meetups or user groups.
- Exceptional client and account management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with hiring managers.
- Comfort working under immediate supervision and within established processes while contributing to team goals.
- Experience thriving in an innovative, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to roll up your sleeves, work hard, and maintain a positive, fun, and collaborative attitude.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging candidates, hiring managers, and peers.
- Attention to detail in documentation, status changes, and onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Interest in ongoing participation in technology communities, such as meetups and user groups, to stay connected with talent markets.
This role operates in a high-volume sourcing and recruiting environment where you manage multiple requisitions and candidate pipelines simultaneously. You work in a collaborative team culture, engaging regularly with your supervisor and peers, and typically report to a manager or supervisor. The atmosphere is innovative and fast-paced, encouraging you to roll up your sleeves, work hard, have fun, and focus on getting the job done. The position supports the Transportation department and may involve participation in technology hiring events, mixers, meetups, and user groups. Standard business attire or professional dress is expected, consistent with a corporate recruiting setting.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 - $36.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
