Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Somerville, MA

This full-time contract position focuses on providing expert speech-language pathology services to a small group of PreK students (ages 3-5) with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The role involves a manageable caseload of 6-8 students, fostering real impact and the opportunity for individualized care.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)

• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to PreK students with ASD
• Collaborate with special education teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments, develop goals, and document progress for assigned students
• Engage with families, providing updates and resources to support communication development at home
• Maintain compliance with all relevant school and state documentation and reporting requirements
