Job Description
Support young learners’ communication development in a dynamic school-based setting near Somerville, MA. This full-time contract position focuses on providing expert speech-language pathology services to a small group of PreK students (ages 3-5) with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The role involves a manageable caseload of 6-8 students, fostering real impact and the opportunity for individualized care.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school or early childhood settings
- Familiarity with communication needs and interventions for students with ASD is highly valued
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to PreK students with ASD
- Collaborate with special education teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop goals, and document progress for assigned students
- Engage with families, providing updates and resources to support communication development at home
- Maintain compliance with all relevant school and state documentation and reporting requirements
