Insight Global is seeking a Senior Audio/Video Technician to support a critical program with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). This role will provide lifecycle support for enterprise audio/visual (A/V) and video teleconferencing (VTC) systems across classified and unclassified environments. The Senior Audio/Video Technician will serve as a technical lead, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable collaboration capabilities that support mission-critical operations. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in enterprise A/V technologies, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience operating in highly regulated, secure environments.

Responsibilities:

Lead the installation, configuration, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex A/V and VTC systems across enterprise environments.
Serve as the technical lead for technology refreshes, system upgrades, and new capability deployments.
Evaluate system performance, diagnose issues, and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and user experience.
Support high-visibility meetings, presentations, and events requiring secure audio, video, and collaboration technologies.
Partner with government stakeholders, engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with mission requirements.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, installation procedures, equipment inventories, and standard operating procedures.
Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance to support team development and operational excellence.
Ensure compliance with security requirements, operational standards, and zero-trust architecture principles.
Research and evaluate emerging A/V technologies to improve enterprise collaboration capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Audiovisual Technology, Engineering, Telecommunications, Business, or a related field. Equivalent experience and certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
6+ years of experience supporting audio/visual systems, video teleconferencing technologies, or related communications platforms.
Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise A/V and VTC systems.
Strong knowledge of audiovisual systems, signal flow, conferencing technologies, acoustics, and integration with enterprise networks.
Experience supporting secure communications environments with strict security and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated leadership experience managing projects, coordinating stakeholders, and driving technical initiatives.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Active Top Secret Clearance, will be obtaining CI Poly

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

2+ years of experience supporting federal government, Department of Justice, Intelligence Community, or other highly secure environments.
Industry certifications such as CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, Crestron, Extron, or similar A/V certifications.
Experience supporting executive-level meetings, special events, and mission-critical communication systems.
Familiarity with zero-trust architecture principles and cybersecurity best practices related to enterprise collaboration technologies.
Experience supporting large-scale A/V modernization efforts, technology refresh initiatives, or enterprise-wide deployments.
