We are partnering with a development-stage biopharma company to hire a Senior Accountant for a full-time hybrid opportunity. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and wants to contribute to a mission-driven organization focused on advancing innovative therapies. Day to day duties include
- Provide support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes; prepare journal entries and account reconciliations; maintain general ledger accuracy; and assist with financial reporting and balance sheet analyses.
- Partner cross-functionally with teams supporting research and development and operations, while helping with audits, compliance, and ongoing process improvements
- Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong knowledge of GAAP, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems. Biopharma, biotech, life sciences, and CPA or CPA-track experience are preferred.
