About the Opportunity
The Occupational Therapist will support students across kindergarten through 12th grade, helping them develop the functional skills needed to access and participate successfully in their educational environment. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members to deliver individualized occupational therapy services aligned with students’ educational goals.
This position serves the Romulus area and surrounding communities, providing an opportunity to build relationships across a diverse K–12 school setting.

- Hours: 32 hours per week
- Caseload: K–12th grade
- Location: Romulus, MI and surrounding areas
- Setting: School-based / educational environment
- Compensation: $45-50
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy evaluations, assessments, and direct/indirect services to students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies based on student needs and educational goals.
- Support students with fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, self-care, functional, and school participation skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, administrators, and families.
- Contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in relevant meetings and educational planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and service records.
- Recommend classroom strategies, accommodations, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications
