What We're Looking For:

• Valid Rhode Island ESE and teaching licensure in Special Education
• Experience supporting diverse learning needs in a school setting
• Confidence adapting to a range of grade levels (final caseload TBD)
• Strong collaboration abilities for working with supervisors, families, and educational teams
• Comfort with digital platforms and engaging in virtual meetings, such as Zoom
• Dedication to individualized instruction and inclusive education

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing individualized and small group instruction to meet IEP goals
• Assessing, tracking, and reporting student progress on a regular basis
• Collaborating with related service providers, classroom teachers, and parents to support holistic student development
• Participating in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and compliance-related activities
• Utilizing a variety of teaching strategies and resources to maximize student engagement and learning
• Supporting a positive and encouraging classroom environment
