Step into a pivotal role dedicated to supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder across K-12 settings as a full-time ABA Therapist/Behavior Specialist. This contract opportunity runs from August 24, 2026, to June 10, 2027, and is based onsite near West Chester, PA, lending your expertise where it counts most. You'll be part of a collaborative, innovative district environment, providing ABA-driven support for students and guidance for your fellow educators.

Your impact will include:

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Valid Pennsylvania educator certification in Special Education or a closely related field
  • Specialized knowledge of evidence-based instructional approaches for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Prior work in autism support or special education classrooms, preferably in urban settings
  • Completion of all required Pennsylvania clearances
  • School-based professional experience (required)
  • Reliable transportation to ensure daily onsite presence
  • Availability between 7:15AM–4PM; schedule accommodations cannot be made
  • Confidence and adaptability working within district environments and on location

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and mentor staff—both new and returning—on instructional practices, student behavior plans, and district procedures
  • Coach teams in the application of verbal repertoires, assessment strategies, and individualized student programs
  • Demonstrate evidence-based ABA methods directly with students in classrooms
  • Work alongside administrators and external consultants to further align district practices with tiered implementation frameworks
  • Facilitate the transition of best practices between anchor and other autism support classrooms
  • Lead the review and training on IEPs, BIPs, and related documentation for all building staff
  • Maintain approachability and accessibility during the critical back-to-school period
