Qualifications and Required Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapy license issued by the state of Massachusetts
  • Prior experience or coursework in providing therapy within schools, especially with K-12 populations
  • Strong understanding of IEPs, related state and federal education laws, and pediatric OT best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students across a variety of grade levels
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, support staff, and families, to facilitate student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in setting and achieving therapy goals
  • Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and monitor student outcomes
  • Provide consultation and guidance to educators regarding classroom adaptations and sensory strategies

This contract offers a 35-hour work week, Monday through Friday, from September 1, 2026, through November 1, 2027.
