REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Position: Electronic Manufacturing Technician
Shifts 9/80 schedule / 1st shift - start time of 6am or 7am
Location: Grand Rapids, MI ]
Rate: 35/hr - 40/hr
MUTS HAVES:
High School Diploma
8+ years of related Electronics Testing and advanced troubleshooting within Aerospace Engineering OR an Associate Degree, Technical Certification, or equivalent post-secondary education in Electronics, Manufacturing Technology, Electrical Technology, Aviation Electronics, or related field with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems. IPC certification or equivalent technical certifications.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This role works closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to support production objectives, improve processes, and ensure product quality and compliance with applicable standards Requiring strong critical thinking and the ability to work through complex, non-routine issues. Key Responsibilities Interpret and apply blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation Document repair processes accurately and maintain compliance with internal procedures Apply structured troubleshooting methodologies (e.g., first known good / last known bad) Collaborate with engineering on complex or unidentified issues as needed Team Structure: Small second-shift team; high level of autonomy expected Overtime: Available and encouraged due to sustained workload
