Job Description

This contract position offers the opportunity to help children and adolescents enhance their fine and gross motor skills, improve daily living tasks, and achieve educational success. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and continues through June 18, 2027, offering stability and the chance to build meaningful relationships within the school community.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Knowledge of educational programs for children and adolescents
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Proficiency in documentation and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ functional abilities
- Create and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support learning and participation
- Monitor progress, adjust interventions, and maintain accurate records
- Educate staff and families on strategies to support student development
- Participate in meetings and offer insights as part of interdisciplinary teams
