Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Michigan (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Background in school-based OT, with experience serving K-12 populations preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes and related documentation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage diverse caseloads and adapt to varying student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to K-12 students, adapting interventions as needed
  • Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and document progress in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and monitor student goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student plans and accommodations
