Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Michigan (or eligibility to obtain)
- Background in school-based OT, with experience serving K-12 populations preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and related documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads and adapt to varying student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to K-12 students, adapting interventions as needed
- Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and document progress in compliance with school and state requirements
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and monitor student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student plans and accommodations
